Pricing questions
Is there a free trial for Premium?
You can use all 11 free tools forever with no card required. When you upgrade to Premium, you're covered by a 14-day money-back guarantee — if you're not satisfied for any reason, email us within 14 days for a full refund. No questions asked.
What currencies do you support?
All pricing and estimate outputs are available in USD (United States), CAD (Canada), and GBP (United Kingdom). Use the selector at the top of this page to switch.
How does the Agency plan work?
You submit your project details and blueprints. A licensed senior estimator is assigned within 2 hours and delivers a complete BOQ, takeoff, or bid document — typically within 24 hours. Each project is quoted individually starting at $500.
Can I cancel or downgrade anytime?
Yes. Cancel your Premium subscription anytime from your dashboard. Your plan remains active until the end of the billing period and then returns to Free.
Do you offer team or enterprise plans?
Yes — for firms with 5+ estimators we offer custom team pricing. Contact us at
support@ximator.com for a quote.
What is the difference between monthly and annual billing?
Annual billing locks in a discounted rate of $249/month (vs $299/month) billed as $2,988/year — saving you $600. You can still cancel, but annual plans are non-refundable after 14 days. Monthly plans can be cancelled at any time.
How accurate are the AI estimates for US construction projects?
Our AI estimates are typically within ±10–15% of contractor bids for US projects. We use RSMeans-aligned cost data and apply local labor market multipliers for 40+ US cities. For projects over $500K, we recommend pairing AI estimates with an Agency human review for ±5–7% accuracy.
Are estimates compliant with US construction cost standards?
Yes. All AI cost breakdowns use the CSI MasterFormat division structure — the standard used by US general contractors, architects, and quantity surveyors. Premium exports include CSI division codes and can be imported into PlanSwift, ProEst, and Excel.
Do the tools work for commercial and residential projects?
Yes — both. Free tools are optimized for residential (houses, ADUs, renovations). Premium AI tools cover commercial new construction, tenant improvements, industrial builds, and multi-family developments. The Blueprint-to-Cost tool accepts any project type.
Can I use Ximator to bid on government or public works projects?
Yes. Our AI BOQ and Bid Package Generator follows public procurement formatting. For Davis-Bacon wage compliance or prevailing wage estimates, contact our Agency team for a human-reviewed package.
